Chayenne Flohr was one of my students in AlphaMax Academy ’s Global Assessment Certificate program in Suriname three years ago. Chayenne is a person I admire greatly. As a teacher you often learn a lot from your students. I was struck by Chayenne’s determination to do well in Academic work. Although she was the normal, friendly student she never wavered in her intention to prepare thoroughly for university work abroad. Early in her GAC program Chayenne faced two life challenges that would have distracted most students. She was so shaken by these experiences that I was quickly forced to switch from my role as a regular teacher to that of a life coach. My school director Sean Taylor advised me to share some of my beliefs and life experiences with Chayenne.
